The Chinese smartphone manufacturer today announced a Online events its two smartphone flagships Find X2 and Find X2 Pro. Both smartphones are equipped with a 6.7-inch QHD+ amoled screen, which offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz. They are powered by a Snapdragon 865, which has 12 GB of RAM at its side. The Find X2 Pro has 512 GByte UFS-3 memory and is expected to cost 1199 euros. The Find X2 with 256 GByte UFS-3 memory starts at a price of 999 euros.
6.7 inch Amoled display with 3168 x 1440 resolution and 120 Hertz
The 6.7-inch display resolves at 3168 x 1440 pixels, providing a pixel density of 513 ppi. With a maximum image brightness of 1200 nit, the display should reflect only slightly. Each Find-X2 series device is calibrated before leaving the factory. This should make the colours full, accurate and comparable to a professional display. DisplayMate, a professional third-party display testing provider, awards A+ ratings for the displays that have set 12 performance records for smartphone displays.
The very good result is probably due to an additional display chip, which improves the performance of the image quality.means this technology with Ultra Vision Engine, which offers two functions with Motion Clear and HDR Video Enhancement and can be used for online video and sports broadcasts of and Youtube increases the frame rates from less than 30 fps to 60 fps or even 120 fps. In addition, HDR video enhancement provides a real-time HDR effect of classic videos. Image enhancement algorithms such as tone mapping, bit depth expansion and color space expansion are designed to improve the quality of the videos. With two loudspeakers and the support of Dolby Atmos, the smartphones are also supposed to convince in tonal vision.
In addition, both devices have an AI-supported adaptive eye protection system. It adjusts the color temperature and brightness of the screen to the environment. In addition, the Find X2 series supports the reduction of blue light and DC dimming, which significantly reduces harmful blue light radiation and reduces flicker at low brightness. Both devices have received the certification of TÜV Rheinland Eye Care.
The Oppo Find X2 Pro is equipped with a triple camera combination consisting of a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens (Sony IMX689), a 48-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens (Sony IMX586) and a 13 megapixel telephoto lens. This allows it to support 10x hybrid zoom. The main camera is based on the Sony IMX689, which according to Oppo is the largest sensor among all 48MP mobile camera sensors. In addition, the camera offers optical image stabilization and is equipped with an aperture of .1.7.
As the world’s first smartphone, the Find X2 Pro features an all-pixel omnidirectional PDAF (phase detection autofocus) with the ability to achieve 100% pixel focus and omnidirectional focus.
Users can easily switch the zoom between the three cameras to take pictures from a short distance of 3 cm and achieve a maximum of 60x zoom. Now Ultra-Night mode can cover all focal lengths with a maximum of 60x zoom, allowing telenight shooting. And even when recording video, a maximum of 30x stepless zoom is possible. Optical image stabilization is also available for wide-angle shots. Oppo Find X2 Pro records 4K, 60fps and HDR videos. The Sollop app is responsible for editing the videos.
Compared to the Find X 2 Pro, the Find X2 is less equipped in terms of camera. The main camel is a Sony IMX586 with 48-megapixel resolution. The ultra wide-angle lens consists of a Sony IMX708 and 12-megapixel resolution, while the telephoto lens resolves with 13 megapixels, as in the Find X2 Pro, but only offers a 5x hybrid zoom. The selfie camera, which is realized in the form of a punch hole in the display, is identical for both smartphones and dissolves with 32 megapixels.
In the test of DxOMark occupied the Find X2 Pro with a total score of 124 rank 1. This place, however, must be shared with the Mi 10 Pro.
Battery: From 0 to 100 percent in 38 minutes
The capacity of the energy storage systems is almost identical with values of 4200 mAh and 4260 mAh. Both allow charging up to 65 watts, which means charging the batteries from 0 to 100 percent takes only 38 minutes. Wireless charging does not support the devices.
Both smartphones come in a double curved case design on the front and back. The front of the Find X2 series is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. In addition to glass, Oppo also uses two new materials – ceramics and imitation leather – for the back. The ceramic edition uses a novel, high-energy ceramic composite material: the surface of the black ceramic layer is machined by an etching process in the micrometer range, which, according to Oppo, makes the phone feel as comfortable as silk.
Like its glass and ceramic counterparts, the orange synthetic leather version is insensitive to water and dust. While the Find X has IP54 certification, the Find X2 Pro has an IP68 certification.
Android 10 with ColorOS 7.1
Android 10 with the Oppo colorOS 7.1 interface is used on both devices. For Dark Mode, Oppo has not only customized icons, but also considered the 200 most popular third-party applications. This should not only provide an “excellent reading experience in all-day conditions”, but also improve battery life by 38 percent.
For ColorOS 7.1, Oppo has also made optimizations under the hood. For example, an anti-fragmentation technique is designed to prevent fragmentation of back-end memory and thus reduce app delays by 93 percent. Optimizations also include priority management technology that pauses applications that are not used regularly by users, reducing system RAM utilization by 40 percent and increasing the average system response by 30 percent. Opp also wants to reduce the start time of applications with ColorOS 7.1.
With Private Safe, ColorOS 7.1 has a secure container that users can use to store sensitive data. For apps, access to this “data vault” is blocked.
